April 11th

Ok, so tankas it is. At least they’re nice and short! Still have to go back and revisit the spaceship thing from day 4 but just about managing to keep up at last.

Managed to do a couple:

My mum was a nurse:
told me all about the war,
remembered birthdays.
Now, when I go to see her,
she doesn’t know who I am.

We held hands shyly,
shared some home-made lemonade,
laughed in summer rain.
In the fall, you grew colder,
left me with a bitter taste.
